Tiffany Shlain – Widening the Path for Next Generation
“So many women widened that narrow path before me and I want to push the sides out even further for the next generation. It’s my duty to do so. Maybe the 11th commandment needs to be “Honor every bold and courageous woman before you. I always felt like being a woman was an advantage. We can grow and birth a human being. That seems like quite a superpower and gives me a perspective that men don’t have.
“I love questioning and finding the humor in everything, and have a deep respect for core Jewish values, ideas and our intense history…and bagels, lox and cream cheese. So basically being an American Jewess informs all my work.”
